Jacki McCarthy

Jacki McCarthy

Jacki McCarthy received her B.A. in visual art and dance performance from Winthrop University in 2004. As an undergraduate, she was honored as one of four student choreographers to show her work at the 2003 American College Dance Festival Gala in Miami, FL, and she became a founding member of Sinergismo. She has performed at venues throughout the Southeast including the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Sumter Museum of Art, Friends of North Carolina Dance Theatre and the Charlotte Dance Festival.  Most recently, she performed in “Circle Dance,” a dance for film project created by L.A. based artist Jon Rajkovich. After graduating, she began teaching creative movement, ballet, and jazz technique at North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance. She also served as Summer Intensive Coordinator and later as a Fundraiser for the company. From 2005-2012, she mentored the Gamut Dance Company at Davidson College and taught jazz technique for the Davidson Dance Ensemble. Jacki is currently the Dance Experience Advisor for Playing for Others, a non-profit organization focused on developing teen leadership skills through the arts and community service.

 

David Ingram

David Ingram

David Ingram, originally from Kinsport, TN, began his dance training at the Kingsport Guild of Ballet under the direction of Karen Gibbons Brown and went on to study at the Fort Wayne Ballet and Butler University.Ingram went on to perform with Louisville Ballet and North Carolina Dance Theater. His repertory includes the works of Salvatore Aiello, George Balanchine, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, August Bournanville, Mikelle Bruzina, Val Caniparoli, Sean Curran, Erica De La O,  Mark Diamond, Nacho Duato, Michel Fokine, Nicolo Fonte, William Forsythe, Mark Godden, Choo-San Goh, Adam Hougland, Sasha Janes, Alonzo King, Pete Lay, Emery Lecrone, Robert North, Marius Petipa, Jonathan Prichard, Andre Prokovsky, Dwight Rhoden, Uri Sands, Bruce Simpson, Domy Reiter Soffer, Ben Stevenson, Paul taylor, Twyla Tharp, and Anthony Tudor. Mr. Ingram would like to thank Karen Gibbons Brown, Larry Attaway, Jeremy Blanton, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Marek Cholewa, and Patricia McBride for their infinite support and wisdom.
